There is evidence of the true population of mice in our house and decided to try Ultra RatZapper on the assessment. I ordered two, because some of the mouse seems to be in the attic and some in the basement. Place 1 in the basement and left a decoy (dry food), but not in mice. I called the RatZapper people, and invited me to try a few things, but to call if they are not at night, and they would replace the device.

When the proposal does not alter the situation in the first block, I had to give up and ask for a refund, but he decided to go ahead and install another device. A few hours later we are mice and 7 in the past 36 hours. Now I’ll call you RatZapper people and get in return the first unit to be defective. Next I smear a little peanut butter at the very front of the trap and a little around the trap.

Amazing– worth every penny

We’ve killed three rats with this trap in our Brooklyn garden. Never had a problem with rats until a construction project unearthed a colony that moved to our block. I’m completely beside myself, and worried about my small dog and baby who both like to play in the yard. There are also cats next door who frequent our yard, so poison and snap traps are out.

The zapper killed a ginormous rat within a day. I keep thinking the problem is over, but then, zap, the trap tells us otherwise. Not pleasant to know there’s still an issue, but oh so much better to know the zapper is on the job and there’s one less rat out there.

Peanut butter plus a beef jerky dog treat seems to be the bait of choice. You need to put gooey bait in a small plastic bottle cap– we used something to hold the bait that was too big and blocked the metal plate in the back at one point.

Our zapper has been outdoors continuously for a month and is working like a champ with one set of batteries. We bought the Agri Rats Nest plastic housing unit, and I felt a bit foolish at first because it’s basically a tupperware container with a hole cut in the front. But it’s the perfect size, keeps the moisture out (including numerous thunderstorms this season) and the trap continues to work. So I’m very happy with this investment.

Whoo Hooo! Zaaap!

This thing kicks A**! It works way better then I hoped for. I am using it to keep the chipmunks out of the flower bed. They dig up the bulbs and eat them. This spring was a bumper crop. 5 at a time were chasing each other through the bed. well I zapped 8 in one day and about 40 so far in just a couple of weeks. every night I also get one mouse. We no longer have a chipmunk problem! Thank you Rat Zapper!

This is the next best thing since sliced bread. I have a barn with hay and horses. I was getting a rat a day in 5 traps. 5 rats a day…..do the math. Within a week, we were rarely seeing a rat. I keep one out, but so far there have not been any rats in sight. After loosing a horse to EPM, this is a must for all barns.

Just received zapper and caught 2 mice immediately. Appears to work exactly as described, and can take care of the tiniest mouse that was stealing bait without tripping the conventional mouse trap I was using. It is expensive but I will consider it worth it if it continues to function like this when needed. I live in the country in an older house, and mice are a periodic problem for me. This is not messy like other traps, and it is more humane in my opinion. I paid .95 on Amazon and that was the cheapest price I could find for rat zapper ultra. Will try to remember to update this in several months, but so far so good and I highly recommend.

Got my first rat today

This rat has been in my walls for months, I watched her last night as she started emerging from a new hole she was chewing. I could see the rat leering through the hole at me. I originally had the Zapper up high near the rafters for weeks with no success.. I moved it on the ground two nights ago with dog food and peanut butter as bait. Success!

RatZapper Kills Squirells Too

I bought the Agri Zap RZUIR1 Rat Zapper Ultra to get rid of Squirells. It does the job and I Highly Recomend this Product. The Squirells had been Chewing up my Wooden Deck Railing and Siding and adding it to their nest, and I caught three of them previously in a Have A Heart Trap and hauled them off to a Local Park. But I got sick of doing it, and they kept coming back. No Longer the Case Now. Just put a few Peanuts at the Very Back of the Unit, and Bait them in with a few more in front of it, and VOILA ZAP ELECTROCUTION. It really works, and these are Big Squirells. Rats and Mice should be easy prey for this Dispenser of Justice.
